Everything you need to know about Facebook's New Pages Experience
Facebook is back yet again with another update and has begun rolling out the New Pages Experience on a number of users’ Facebook Pages. Facebook users whose Pages have already converted to the New Pages Experience will have started noticing the differences and may be confused about what has happened to their Facebook Page and why, but don’t panic; EyeLook Media is here to keep you up to date with the latest information and help you better understand Facebook’s New Pages Experience.

What Facebook Users Need To Know
Facebook has implemented many changes with the latest update from classic Facebook Pages to the New Pages Experience in an attempt to make things easier and more simplified for users on the platform. Although the New Pages Experience has not yet affected every page on the platform, Facebook has made it clear that pages will continue being converted to the New Pages Experience throughout the coming months. One of the biggest changes that users will immediately notice is the “Switch Profile” feature. This feature has been added by Facebook to make navigating between personal profiles and public pages easier for creators and business owners.
According to Facebook, the New Pages Experience is “a way for public figures, businesses and others who want to build and connect with an audience manage their professional presence on Facebook”.

What’s New?
Page Likes Have Been Removed
- Facebook page likes will no longer be shown on pages and like counts will no longer be accessible in the New Pages Experience. Users who followed your classic page will transfer to your new page as a follower. Unfortunately, users who liked but didn’t follow your page will not be transferred to your new page's follower count.
A Redesigned Layout for Pages
- Facebook has introduced a cleaner, more intuitive layout with the New Pages Experience in an effort to make managing a professional presence on Facebook easier for public figures, businesses, and others who want to build and connect with an audience.
Page Roles and Permissions
- Facebook has made changes to classic page roles and permissions and has unveiled the new “Facebook Access” and “Task Access” permission options. Users now have the option to give others either full access or task access in order to manage a page.
Creator Studio and Meta Business Suite
- Facebook has removed Publishing Tools and released Creator Studio and Meta Business Suite. All scheduled posts to Facebook and Instagram will now need to be scheduled through Meta Business Suite or Creator Studio.
With the world of technology and marketing constantly changing and evolving, it’s no surprise that Facebook is continuously implementing changes and updating the platform’s core features. Learn more about Facebook’s New Pages Experience
